TrueCar Racing Driver Profiles: Shannon McIntosh
A race car driver with 17 years of experience, Shannon McIntosh is competing for Pabst
Racing Services in the 2012 USF2000 National Championship Series, with TrueCar Racing as her main sponsor. A native of Miamisburg, Ohio, McIntosh started her career as a driver of United States Auto Club midgets, sprint cars, and formula cars.
In 2011, Shannon McIntosh joined the IndyCar “Road to Indy” development ladder system,
which she hopes will enable her to race in the IZOD IndyCar Series and the Indianapolis 500.
She will partner with TrueCar to race in the USF2000 Series in 2013 as well as in 2012.
In recent years, Shannon McIntosh was named a Pretty Amazing Real-Girl Cover Girl by
Seventeen Magazine. Prominent watchmaker TAG Heuer features McIntosh in its Time for
Rebels campaign, while Mashable named her one of seven Must-Follow Athletes on Social Media. In her free time, Shannon McIntosh enjoys traveling, shopping, running, cycling, strength training, and practicing hot yoga.
