Attention Seniors: Our UCSD Rep will be presenting on the personal insight questions (personal statement) and be available to answer your questions re: UC application and admissions on Thursday 11/10/16 during advisory. There are two presentations 40 student max for each session- Sign up on Naviance -first come first serve. Session 1 at 12:45 in lab, Session 2 at 1:30 in the lab.
(11/10 Ms. Jessica Resendez) Soccer Kickoff: Coach Esquivel will be holding a soccer kickoff practice for high school girls’ soccer on November 12 from 2pm-4pm at the Sports Deck (across from Thornton Hospital). Please feel free to attend if you are interested in participating in soccer this year. Please see Ms. Esquivel if you have any questions. (11/10 Ms. Esquivel) Varsity Or Junior Varsity Soccer Teams: Any high school boy wishing to tryout for the Varsity or Junior Varsity Soccer teams must attend a training session on Wednesday, November 16, after school. The session will take place at Warren Field at UCSD, located just over the bridge to the west of The Preuss School. Students MUST have a completed Athletics Physical to participate. Sign up to attend the one-day SPARK workshop being held at UCSD on Saturday, Nov. 19th from 9 am - 3 pm. Online registration is open - cost is $10 to cover meals and snacks. Book Faire: Come check out this year’s book fair that will be starting this Friday, November 4 till November 11. The book fair will be opening at 8 am until 3:30 pm and Flyers will be passed out during advisory. Make sure to pass by and check out the fun books there is this year and your favorite authors.
