With the Blessings of The Divine Master Bhagawan Baba, the 35th State Conference of Sri Sathya Sai Organisation, Odisha was held in a sublime atmosphere of Love & Adoration at Kabi Samrat Upendra Bhanja Mahavidyalay Ground, Bhanjanagar hosted by Ganjam(1) & Ganjam(2) districts.
Highlights of 35th State Conference
The newly appointed, 4th State President of SSSO, Odisha, Shri P. Jagannath Prasad Rao, inaugurated the function and presided over the proceedings of the conference.
On the afternoon of 7.1.2011, Swami’s Photo installed on a decorated chariot was brought from Sai Mandir Bhanjanagar to the conference venue in a grand procession in which more than 1000 devotees participated with Bhajans, Conch Dance, Dandia Dance & Purna Kumbhas by Mahilas.
Swami’s photo was brought to the decorated stage with the chanting of Sri Rudram by the Rudrarpitham Chanters renting the air.
A Spiritual exhibition was organised with exhibits on various activities of the state which were specially displayed at the exhibition conducted at Indoor Stadium, Prashanthi Nilayam, during the 85th Birthday celebrations of Bhagawan. Other exhibits included message of Bhagawan Baba on Golden Age & Spiritual renaissance, Introducing God through animals etc. along with district wise highlights of activities under taken which inspired one & all. The Rally of devotees with decorated Swami’s Chariot left an unforgettable impression on the hearts of the participants & general public. The souvenir “Sai Spandan-2011” comprising synopsis of all talks delivered in the conference, Roles & Responsibilities of Office bearers, Guidelines of various projects, Oriya translation of the “Universal Sai” article published in Times of India during 85th birthday celebration of Bhagawan Baba, Various success stories of the state, contact details of all Office Bearers & Resource Persons, was inaugurated on
the occasion. Other Seven new publications & one audio CD on Value Songs for B.V were released. The LCD based presentation on success stories of Sai activities carried out throughout the state inspired the participants.
Following panel discussions were conducted to enable clear understanding of the Roles & Responsibilities of various office bearers starting from Bhajan Mandali to District level.

Many youths participated as Speakers, Anchors & Facilitators.
The State President conducted separate meetings with all State Office bearers, District Presidents, District Youth Coordinators, Resource Persons & Representatives from Sri Sathya Sai Schools etc. to elicit their views on better functioning of the organization and formulation of future action plan. Former State President & Former State Trust Convener were felicitated in an atmosphere of Love & Admiration with lilting bhajans in the background creating a divine vibration. Success stories of various projects undertaken in the state and miraculous Healings experienced at various units were presented by villagers & beneficiaries.
Melodious Bhajans by Sai Symphony team, Vedic Prayer & Group Songs by youth sisters, Cultural programme by BV Students, Odissi Dance by Chhatrapur BV children & Drama by
Berhampur Youths touched the hearts of all.
1088 delegates from all over the State and about 1300 delegates from the host districts, totaling more than 2388 delegates actively participated in the conference.
In his valedictory address State President proposed to observe the year 2011 as the year of “Spiritual Rejuvenation” & called for “Expansion of Love” in each & every activity. He prayed Swami to shower His Choicest blessings on Odisha & sought for the cooperation from all Office Bearers with all sincerity & dedication to perform the activities upto HIS satisfaction.
The function concluded with Vote of Thanks by Bhanjanagar Samithi Convener followed by Mangal Arathi to Bhagawan.
