On March 26, 1993, a group of 22 investors purchased the San Antonio Spurs. The group currentlynumbers 20 investors who are members of a limited liability company known as San Antonio Spurs, L.L.C. Now in his 12th season as Chairman and CEO … he and hiswife, Julianna Hawn Holt, bought into the Spurs ownershipgroup in 1996 … since that time the organization has enjoyedunprecedented growth and success … four NBA champi-onships, a successful campaign for a new arena and two newSan Antonio-based sports franchises are among the accom-plishments achieved during Holt’s tenure … thanks in part to the AT&T Center – whichopened in November of 2002 – the organization is now known as Spurs Sports &Entertainment … with over 200 full-time employees, Spurs Sports & Entertainment runs fourprofessional sports franchises – the Spurs, the Silver Stars, the Rampage and the AustinToros – while also managing the day-to-day operations of the AT&T Center … over the last10 seasons (since Tim Duncan joined the team in 1997–98) the Spurs have posted a regu-lar season record of 559-229 … the team’s winning percentage of .709 during that span isthe best of any team in the four major sports (MLB, NBA, NFL and NHL) … during theDuncan era the Spurs have captured four NBA championships (1999, 2003, 2005 and2007) … the Spurs organization has twice been named the best franchise in professionalsports (2003 and 2005) in the annual ESPN The Magazine Ultimate Standings survey (eachyear the Ultimate Standings ranks every professional team in a formula using analysis ofteam financial data combined with fan feedback in which over 30,000 fans judge teams byeight factors including players, bang for the buck, ownership, and stadium experience) … inJune of 2007 SS&E purchased the Austin Toros of the NBA Development League (joiningthe Lakers as the second NBA franchise to own and operate their own D-League team) …the great-grandson of Benjamin Holt, inventor of the first track-type tractor which becamethe basis for Caterpillar Inc. … serves as the CEO of San Antonio-based HOLT CAT (thefirm still displays several of Ben Holt’s early tractors outside its headquarters) which is thelargest Caterpillar dealership in the United States … born in Peoria, Illinois … lived in SanAntonio as a child before moving to Corpus Christi, where he graduated from high school… served two years in the U.S. Army during which time he earned a Silver Star, threeBronze Stars and a Purple Heart from his one-year tour of duty in Vietnam … ended his mil-itary service as a Sergeant E5 … a staunch believer in community service … is proud of theSpurs commitment to South Texas and its residents (in 2000 the Spurs earned the ProTeam Community Award presented by the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame, anaward presented annually to the professional sports franchise that best illustrates excep-tional community involvement and fosters community pride and spirit) … among the Spurscommunity efforts are the Spurs Drug-Free Youth Basketball League, the annual county-wide United Way campaign and a variety of educational outreach programs which serviceover 85 percent of the elementary schools in Bexar County (during the 2006–07 seasonover 200,000 area students were touched by the various Spurs Sports & Entertainmenteducation programs) … Holt’s own efforts include a lengthy list of community service posi-tions … in July of 2007 was appointed chairman of the Texas Parks and WildlifeCommission by Governor Rick Perry … a member of the World Presidents’ Organization …serves as a board member for Free Trade Alliance San Antonio, the San Antonio EconomicDevelopment Foundation, the Trust Company and the Texas State Aquarium … is a trusteeof Trinity University and serves on the advisory board of the McCombs School of Businessat the University of Texas … past chairman of the United Way of San Antonio and BexarCounty … he and Julianna have been Spurs season ticket holders since 1988.

Has led the Spurs to four NBA Championships in his 11seasons as the team’s head coach (1999, 2003, 2005 and2007) … one of five coaches in history with four-or-more NBAChampionships (along with Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson, JohnKundla and Pat Riley) … enters the 2007–08 season with acareer mark of 576-276 … career winning percentage of .676ranks third in NBA history (behind Jackson and BillyCunningham) … named the 2003 NBA Coach of the Year … three times has led SanAntonio to the NBA’s best regular season record (1998–99, 2000–01 and 2002–03) …posted his 500th career win vs. Dallas on March 2, 2006 … did so in his 745th careergame, making him the fifth fastest coach in NBA history to reach the 500 win mark … hasbeen named the NBA Coach of the Month nine times (4/99, 3/01, 3/02, 1/03, 3/03,12/03, 12/05, 3/06 and 3/07) … playoff career winning percentage of .643 (92-51) is thesecond best in NBA history (behind Jackson) and his 92 playoff wins are the fifth most inleague history … the Spurs all-time leader in both regular season and playoff wins … a 1970graduate of the United States Air Force Academy with a degree in Soviet studies … playedfour seasons at the Air Force Academy … as a senior was the team’s captain and leadingscorer … following his graduation in 1970 served his five-year military commitment …during that time toured Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union as a member of the U.S.Armed Forces Team … selected to represent the U.S. on the national A.A.U. The Silver Dancers are now in their 16th season as the official dance team of the San Antonio Spurs. Created in the

summer of 1992, this 16-member squad performs at selected Spurs home games during the 2007-2008 season.

The dancers entertain audiences with upbeat and fast-paced routines. Under the direction of Raquel Garcia, the

Silver Dancers are consistently one of the best dance teams in the NBA. When the Silver Dancers are not on the court,

they can be found making school and community appearances in San Antonio and throughout South Texas.

For the 30th time in the Spurs 35-year history WOAI Radio will broadcast every Spurs game… Spurs broadcasts on WOAI Radio are heard in 38 states and Mexico thanks to the station’s50,000-watt clear channel signal … WOAI serves as the flagship station of the SpursBasketball Network, which includes the following stations: ESPN-Radio (Austin), KKTX(Corpus Christi), KTJK (Del Rio) and KERV (Kerrville).

Now in his 14th season as the Spanish voice of the Spurs … joined the organization inOctober of 1994 after spending four seasons as Portland Trail Blazers’ Spanishbroadcaster … a 1990 graduate of Oregon State University … was born in San Miguel DeAllende, Mexico and raised in both Mexico and Oregon.

The 15th consecutive season that KCOR will carry the Spurs Spanish radio broadcasts …KCOR will broadcast all of the Spurs regular season and playoff games during the 2007–08campaign.
