SciVerse Science Direct and Adobe XThere are incompatibility issues between SciVerse Science Direct PDF files and Adobe X which is used with Windows 7 on PCs in the University.

Accessing full text articles via SwetsWise SwetsWise lists most of our subscriptions to journals online. When you perform a search in SwetsWise you will be routed to the full text of articles in SciVerse Science Direct if we hold a subscription to the journal. Select the full text available at ScienceDirect link.

Accessing full text articles in SciVerse Science DirectWhen you perform a search in SciVerse Science Direct full text availability is indicated by the green tile and the PDF icon on the search results page.

How do I download the full text? Select either the full text available at ScienceDirect link in SwetsWise or the PDF icon from the individual article page in SciVerse Science Direct. The article should open in a new window.

What else can I do? If a new window opens but the screen is blank you should try the following:Hover over the PDF link or icon and right click with your mouseSelect the Save link as… / Save file as… optionLocate the saved file and open it in the version of Adobe Reader on your PC or device
