Analyzed data to provide constructive feedback to DSL's, OM's, and sales to improve carton report accuracy and overall returns. Certified Lean Manufacturing (Kaizan) leader, leading a cross-functional project that

streamlined systems, removed bottlenecks and improved the carton return, sorting and reporting process resulting in savings of over $60k annually.

Introduced and implemented a Canadian carton control strategy that reduced excessive inventory costs and improved on time delivery.

PepsiCo Foods, Lethbridge – Sr. Shift Supervisor, Warehouse 2007-2009

Managed a shift team of 30+ employees to meet and surpass cost, quality, service and safety results. Managed crewing, training and disciplinary activities of day to day operations to ensure teams were crewed to meet volume.

Optimized the crewing forecast by developing and implementing new processes that resulted in OT reduction to 45% of plan.

PepsiCo Foods, Taber – Packaging Manager, Manufacturing 2003-2007

Managed and lead the packaging department to 18% improvement in labor over 3 years. The site achieved top 3 in packaging North American rankings for 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Project point for the $10 million MV expansion. Developed and maintained installation schedules to balance people, construction and production needs that resulted in minimal impact to service while staying on budget.

Managed daily operation of the site packaging department and led a shift team of 50+ people to meet cost, quality service and safety expectations.

Developed, managed and delivered site training plan for regulatory training. Site IT expert for hardware and software installations and issues

PepsiCo Foods - Western Canada Scheduler, Taber/Lethbridge 2001-2003

Selected to be part of a national team to develop and deliver production scheduling training across the North American division that delivered $7 million in annual cost savings. Developed an excel spread sheet that automated the scheduling process from a hand

written format. This reduced scheduling time by several hours per day and created time to focus on forward planning, ultimately leading to efficiencies in many other areas.

Created and coordinated detailed construction, event and holiday planning to maintain compliance in both Taber and Lethbridge plants.
