Hispanic American Heritage Month
Every year on September 15 through October 15 in the United States we celebrate Hispanic American Heritage Month.
Different activities and events are celebrated throughout the month to learn about the Hispanic Culture.
In honor of celebrating Hispanic Heritage MonthWe will create a Research Project/Report on Hispanic American Scientists/Inventors
It will be a pair activity, you will work with a partner.You will choose a Hispanic-American Scientist or Inventor from the list given to you.
Rubric for the Research ProjectTotal of 100 pts.Find sources from the internet, as well as books, journals, or magazines.
Name of Scientist/InventorDate and place of birthEthnicity-(Hispanic background) 25 pts.
Summary of the Contribution of the Scientist/inventor (in your own words) 30 pts.
How has the contribution of the scientist/inventor affected your life? 25 pts.
Add pictures/illustrations of scientist/inventor. Create as a poster or report, must be presentable and legible 20 pts.
