Know your rights

This project was done to aware the girls of their rights they have in the society.

So that they can live their life with full confidence and courage. The seminar was

held at government college Amritsar. Gen. secretary jyoti bawa had a good

discussion with girls and aware them a lot.

RANGOLI

“ Rangoli “ a cultural event came up with the idea of presenting raw talents of

youth ,in which they were given chance to explore their talent on stage without

any feeling of competition .. The participants came up with different

performances in the form of dance, singing etc presenting our Punjabi culture.

The event was presided by pr. J.S bawa( state and national awardee), Jatinder

brar (owner of Punjab natshala), shri parminderjeet Singh (shiromani kavi)

Listening news, reading headlines on one and only one topic female foeticide disturbed the members of organization and decided to fight against the social evil female foeticide. The organization took its first step in the form of seminar. The seminar comprised of educated persons, artist ,business man, common man which helped the message to be conveyed in each mind of different sectors of our society.

Punjabi samvad’s next target was to enlighten the youth about their rich Indian culture. For this they educated youth about the culture and prepared different performances to aware more youth. The event presented different folk dances. Punjabi samvad’s president Mr. amit bawa showed different traditional properties to the them.

This was a documentary play against female foeticide written by Mrs. Jyoti bawa . The play was inspired from the news of sex-determination machines being caught in hospitals. The play targeted on equal education of boys and girls to maintain balance in living style and thinking level of society.

A awareness program on education was done for children explaining right to education and advantages of education in life and transforming it to better way. Punjab’s agriculture minister “Gulzar Singh ranike” came as chief guest for the evening. In this children presented performances on education and were gifted with appreciation certificates.

Miss samvad's was a step taken for the education of girls. The event was a month long which comprised of different rounds. Firstly the scholarship program was announced in colleges for needy and deserving girls. Different rounds were arranged to judge out their willingness to study. Each girl was individually councilled and after it a final decision was taken. Then 12 girls finally got study scholarship for one year i.e. rs 5000/- per student.

A special event was organized in which our famous personality miss. Bharti Singh was invited.

In this bharti narrated her story of struggle to the girls inspiring them to work hard in their life

and not to be afraid of ups and downs in their life. Bharti told them many good points to boost

their confidence. The girls had a great time with her.. They did a very smart interaction and ask

very interesting questions.

During the time of “miss. Samvad's” scholarship program an special meeting was organized with

an honorable advocate “Mrs. Navjot kaur chabba “ who enlighten girls with their rights

according to law. She proved to be a great inspiration for girls. Pr. J.s bawa also attended the

seminar.

The project of play “khooh bolda hai” was the most special for Punjabi samvad's . It was inspired

from the news of pattran wala khooh in which the fetus of infants were thrown and even they

used to threw acid on them so that no one could recognize the gender. This news disturbed them a lot

.then jyoti bawa(gen.sece.) of Punjabi samvad's came with the story of khooh bolda hai which was

supported by the poems by amit bawa (President of ps.). The play has done 12 live shows and has

been staged on Delhi's famous theatre SHRI RAM ART CENTRE. The play has been witnessed

by some prominent personalities such as mrs.laxmi Kant chawala, hon. Gulzar Singh ranike, famous

poet Mr. surjit pattar , dr.noor

Then Punjabi Samvad got a precious script on

bhai kanhayia ji‘s life and its real essence written by

state and national awardee principal J. S. BAWA JI.

Punjabi Samvad produced this play

‘NA KOI VAIRI NA BIGANA.’

Directed by sensitive & immensely thoughtful director

Jyoti bawa. Its poetry was written by

Amit bawa...Nazam ‘PANI’ is a real picture

of Bhai Kanhayia ji’s true soul.

This project has been started keeping in mind the problems girls are facing in terms of employment. To give better opportunity Punjabi Samvad launched their institute ‘koshish’ which trains them for cosmetology which expertise them in beauty and hair section with proper study.

Dr. gurbilas Singh (MRCP,UK) have been a very supporting

person throughout. The good soul always encouraged the

society’s activities by providing them all possible support.

The ‘koshish’ academy by Punjabi Samvad thanks' him for

the support it got from them . He has the back – bone of he

institute of cosmetology .

Special children (mentally retarded) performing cultural dance and inspiring the audience to preserve their culture.

Highlighting the issue of acid attack and awaking the masses of the pain and suffering the victims goes through . Youngsters performing and inspiring to fight against wrong.

“ zindagi mudh toh aa”

Zindagi mudh toh aa was a cultural event with some different aspects. The target fulfilled in this event

1) TO AWARE EVERYONE ABOUT A SOCIAL ORGANIZATION “IBADAT “ WHICH DEALS WITH LEARNING DIFFICULTIES STUDENTS AND GIVE THEM THE PLATFORM.

2) THIS TIME THE MAIN POINT WAS OUR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM “SHAMILI” IN WHICH WE GAVE CERTAIN GIRLS SCHOLARSHIP SO THAT THEY CAN CONTINUE THEIR STUDIES. MANY KNOWN PERSONALITIES BECAME THE PART OF THIS WORTHY CAUSE.

3) TO RISE SOME PROBLEMS FACED BY WOMEN IN HER DAY TO DAY LIFE.

• The best achievement was our Deputy Commissioner Shri. Rajat Aggarwal praised our efforts and promised to be with us through out in our all efforts.

An effort to aware people about pollution

A seminar was conducted Dr. swaranjit a professor at medical college. They aware the audience about pollution and it reasons and causes . The audience was full of intellectual persons .

The project was named chale shasvat ganga ki khoj..

The project came out to e very successful and as well as very interesting. Some new conclusions were made out of it…
