SmugMugSmugMug is a paid photo-sharing

website and image hosting service which allows users to upload both HD photos and videos to their SmugMug sites. Launched in 2002, the company offers a toolset which facilitates the selling of digital and print media for amateur and professional photographers.

FlickrFlickr is an image hosting and website video hosting, web

services suite, and online community created by Ludicorp in 2004 and acquired by Yahoo! in 2005 - In addition to being a popular website for users to share and embed personal photographs, the service is widely used by bloggers to host images to embed in blogs and social media. Yahoo reported in June 2011 that Flickr has a total of 51 million registered members and 80 million unique visitors. In August 2011, the site reported that hosted over 6 billion of images and this number continues to grow apace, according to sources. Photos and videos can be accessed from Flickr without registering an account, but an account must be made in order to upload content to the website. Register an account also allows users to create a profile page with photos and videos that user has uploaded and also gives the possibility of adding another user of Flickr contact. 

ImageshackImageShack is a subscription-based image

hosting website headquartered at Los Gatos, California. According to Nielsen//NetRatings, ImageShack was the fourth fastest growing web brand in July 2006. The site was launched in November 2003. The main page has a file selection field, where the user may select the image file to upload. Theimage file format must be either JPEG (JPG), PNG, GIF, TIFF (TIF), BMP, and the file must be smaller than or equal to 5 megabytes (free service) or 10 megabytes (subscription service). Uploaded BMP and TIFF (TIF) images are automatically converted to PNG format.

PhotobucketPhotobucket is an image hosting and video

hosting website, web services suite, and online community dedicated to preserving and sharing the entire photo and video lifecycle. Photobucket hosts more than 10 billion images from 100 million registered members, who upload more than four million images and videos per day from the Web and connected digital devices. Photobucket's headquarters are in Denver with regional offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.. The website was founded in 2003 by Alex Welch and Darren Crystal and received funding from Trinity Ventures. It was acquired by Fox Interactive Media in 2007. In December 2009, Fox's parent company, News Corp sold Photobucket to Seattle mobile imaging startup Ontela. Ontela then renamed itself Photobucket Inc. and continues to operate as Photobucket.
