Our Comenius Allotment

First, we planted the vegetables.Carrots and parsley were planted on 24th of April 2013.

Then, we had to wait some time to see the first signs of our work.

And wait And wait

In mean time, students decided to do some extra work

They made some fruit And vegetables

They put their hearts into preparing ideal fruit and vegetable basket

And here is the final result

And our plants are getting bigger and bigger( the picture was taken in June)

In August almost all vegetables looked lovely

Vegetable growth in Poland

In Poland we decided to plant the vegetables later than in other countries because of the weather. In March it is still cold, it may even snow. April is very difficult time to plant fruit and vegetables. For us the best moment to plant the vegetables was in late April.First we planted carrots and parsley at school. It was made on 24th of April 2013. On 29th of April we decided to plant tomatoes . We had to plant them at school as well. We watered them and looked after them. Later, when the weather changed for better, we put the vegetables to the Comenius allotment in the garden. In the early June there were first signs of our work. But the vegetables looked really beautiful in August.
