Drama Experience
Participation in a number of plays through university and for a couple of years afterwards including roles in Aphra Behn’s The Rover, Shakespeare’s As You Like It, and contemporary political dramas including Howard Brenton’s Plays for the Poor Theatre. As a practising Drama teacher, I have also directed several school productions by playwrights including Brecht, Beckett, Feydeau and Shakespeare, and have designed and written a successful TIE project, as well as writing a three-act comedy.
Other Relevant Experience
Especially following an unfortunate career interruption forced on me by a road accident, I have continued to occasionally step in and teach English and Drama. As well as performing in their workshops. I have provided a number of teaching resources for the Glyndebourne Education department’s online resource packs, and for the last three years of my time in the full-time chorus, I was the writer of the Glyndebourne website’s in-house blog - ‘Stage Write’.
