New Avon Beauty Center Hosts Grand Opening
Sept. 20, 2011 (Scott Depot, WV) – Avon Beauty Center, a new retail store in Scott Depot, will
host its grand opening on Sept. 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Ribbon cutting is at 11:30 a.m.
The store carries all the favorite Avon products as well as seasonal merchandise and monthly
specials. Grand Opening Day visitors receive a free anti-bacterial hand gel and are eligible to
enter the drawing for an Avon gift basket valued at over $200.00. The drawing will be at the end
of the day on Sept. 27, and the winner will be contacted via email or phone if not present.
“In today’s economy, we are seeing many people switch to Avon because the products offer both
value and performance,” said Sherri Payne, owner of the Avon Beauty Center. The store offers
customers an opportunity to sample products, compare color shades and scents, and try on
jewelry. Customers can also explore new products, schedule makeovers and learn about new skin
care methods at the Avon store.
Avon offers multiple ways to purchase products, including online websites and personal delivery
by Avon representatives. Payne said, “Opening the Avon store is another step in personal
service for our customers.” Avon customers can choose the sales channel that is most
convenient for them each time they order products.
Payne has 30 representatives on her sales team, and the store also serves as a training center for
her reps. “The training center is where my sales team meets to discuss our goals, learn about new
Avon products, and explore ways that we can provide better customer service,” says Payne.
When not in use by the Avon sales team, the meeting room is available for rental for groups up
to 20 people. “Our meeting room is the perfect location for baby showers because Avon offers
Tiny Tillia designer clothes,” says Payne. Online shower registry is available for Avon’s newest
