Cellular Phones

• Communication has always been a key

to success, from wars to relationships.

• Martin Cooper led the team that

developed it and brought it to market in

1983 and is considered as the "father of

the cell phone“.

Wilbur and Orville Wright spent many years building balloons and kites before they built the first airplane. Their invention was very special because it was the first flying machine.

Computer

• No list of the "greatest technologies ever

invented" is complete unless it includes

the personal computer.

• The invention of the personal computer, or

PC, happened in the 1970s and

revolutionized the entire world.

• GPS or the Global Positioning

System was invented by the U.S.

Department of Defense (D.O.D) and

Ivan Getting, at the cost of twelve

billion taxpayer dollars

• GPS has been used to pinpoint any

ship or submarine on the ocean, and

to measure Mount Everest. becoming

very economical.

• Today, GPS is finding its way into

cars, boats, planes, construction

equipment, movie making gear, farm

machinery and even laptop

computers.

Internet• Berners-Lee was the man leading the

development of the World Wide Web (with

help of course), the defining of HTML

(hypertext markup language).

• Internet has arguably changed the

world more than most other inventions.

The Internet was invented in the late

'60s and made available to the public in

the '90s.

Cars

• Henry Ford wanted to change

transportation in the world.

• He designed the first car and used

factories to build many cars in a short

amount of time!

Light bulb

• Thomas Alva Edison invented the light

bulb. He was born in USA in 1847.He died

in USA in 1931.

• Edison did not invent the first electric light

bulb, but he invented the first

incandescent light.

Refrigerator

• The refrigerator was invented to help

keep food from spoiling in the heat.

• Carl von Linde invented the refrigerator

in 1876.Carl von Linde was from

Germany.

• YouTube - the online video sharing and viewing

community - was invented in 2005 by Steve

Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim.

• YouTube was named Time Magazines Invention

of the year in 2006.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)

• (UAV) is a type of aircraft which has no

onboard crew or passengers. UAVs

include both autonomous drones and

remotely piloted vehicles (RPVs).

• UAV is now being given a greatly

expanded role in many areas of aviation.

networking website that brought

revolution to the social media.

• Facebook was invented by Harvard

computer science student Mark

Zuckerberg , along with classmates

Eduardo Saverin, Dustin Moskovitz, and

Chris Hughes.

civilization people invented different

things ; they were useful ,harmful or

ridiculous.• Each invention has both

positive and negative sides, so we

can’t claim that something is only

useful but another one is not.• The

worst invention that can lead our
