The Guest PerformersThe GraduatesGuests, Families, and Friends
The staff at the Hawthorn Arts Centre and Town Hall, and the volunteers who have given their valuable assistance to this evening’s ceremony.
The 4th Element has developed over the last four years, from performing at Wesley College, to stages in the real world. A group with high hopes, they have performed at Dizzy’s Jazz Club and at various private functions. They now look to expand their performance
repertoire over the next few years. Featuring Remy Burns on trumpet, Pat Edwards on guitar, Nick Lazzara on bass, Leigh Petropoulos on drums, and with the recent adoption of Callum Thorpe on piano, the jazz group looks forward to spicing up what it is, and what it will be.
Guest Performance by The 4th Element
As chair of the Human Research Ethics Committee, Mr Wal Reid has played a major role in the many achievements of the Institute, including the prestige by which it is now known. We thank him for his leadership, for his intellectual rigour, and for the support and friendship he has given over many years.
