MEDDAC PROVIDES CLINIC COVERAGE PLANS FOR THE FOURTH OF JULY FED-ERAL AND TRAINING HOLIDAYS U.S. Army Medical Department Activity officials have announced clinic coverage plans for the Fourth of July federal and training holidays, July 4and 5, respec-tively. All MEDDAC facilities will be closed with the exception of urgent care availability at the Family Medicine Clinic at Guthrie. Urgent Care will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to support patients' urgent medical needs on July 4 and 5. For medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency department for treatment. Fireworks Friday June 29th!! Check out the best fireworks show in upstate NY while watching the bestaction in all of summer collegiate baseball!! Fireworks will begin immediately after the game. DPW Engineering will have contractors performing parking lot reconstruction starting 02 July 12 for the North Gate Mini Mall on Iraqi Freedom Road P11005. Closure of both entrances will be necessary during the reconstruction to make repairs to the asphalt. Work is anticipate to be completed by 9 July 12. DPW Engineering will have contractors performing parking lot reconstruction starting 02 July 12 for the Mt Belvedere Mini Mall on Mt Belvedere Rd and PO Valley Rd P4230. The Mt Belvedere Rd entrance will be closed during the re-construction to make repairs to the asphalt. Access into and out of the mini mall will be reduced to only one entrance on PO Valley Rd. Access to gas pumps and the mini mall will be available with possible delays because of construction vehicles. Work is anticipate to be completed by 15 July 12. Because of uneven surfaces throughout the parking lot during the reconstruc-tion, please insure to use caution and reduce your speed . Observe all cones and fencing directing pedestrians around the parking lot and into the building.

July 1st - military style brass band Excelsior Cornet commemorates the 1812 bicentennial

with a superb lecture/concert, authentic period clothing and instruments.

July 8th - Tenor Madness Tenor guitar, clarinet, upright bass and vocals present classic American swing. One of the best chamber-jazz groups you’ll ever hear.

July 15th - Vishten hails from the Magdelen and Prince Edward Islands. Traditional Acadian and Celtic roots mu-sic with fiery fiddles, foot percussion, piano and bodhran.

July 22nd - Can Am Weekend - Atlas rocks the battlefield for an afternoon of big city party time. Dance in an outdoor setting to swing, pop and classic rock.

July 29th - Babik blends big band with an exotic flare of gypsy folk songs. Homemade percussion including a duck call adds to the fun.

August 5th - The Opera Reel String Band with authentic 1812 era music and dance.

August 26th - Quickstep with John Kirk and Trish Miller and talented friends, bring us authentic Appalachian and Adirondack fiddle music – clogging too! More 1812 era tunes!

Sept 2nd - Our Labor Day extravaganza with The Mario De Santis orchestra. They round up all the good tunes from the past 60 years.
