We have been receiving numerous questions about the NA Kickoff, and we hope you are excited about this great Veeam event. Below is a listing of all that you need to know to get ready for Kickoff. MEETING LOCATION:

PROGRAM DATES: January 14 – 15 (for ALL North America Veeam Sales & Marketing)

January 16 – 17 – Additional SE training

REGISTRATION: If you have not already done so, please register for the Kickoff today. The link to registration is: http://go.veeam.com/event-na-kickoff-2014-reg.html HOTEL RESERVATIONS: Hotel rooms will be reserved for all employees who register. If you are local to Atlanta, a hotel room will be reserved for you for one night on Tuesday, Jan. 14. ALL EMPLOYEES MUST REGISTER FOR KICKOFF. Hotel reservations have been made for all employees under a Veeam room block. All rooms will be paid on the Veeam master account; however, you should be prepared to provide a credit card upon arrival for any incidentals not covered by Veeam. Because this is a group meeting and billing will be part of a master account, hotel membership numbers will not be accepted. YOU WILL NOT HAVE A SLEEPING ROOM IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER. TRAVEL: If you are flying to Atlanta for Kickoff, you must email your detailed itinerary (airline, flight number(s), arrival date and time, departure date and time) to [email protected].

All Domestic Travelers to Atlanta (US and Canada):

o Arrivals: Everyone traveling to Atlanta should make their flight arrangements to arrive on Jan. 13. You should

make your plans to arrive at the hotel by 5 p.m. in time for team dinners (for travelers only). The hotel is

about 45 minutes away via train.

o Departures: Please plan to make your departure flights after 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 15 or the morning of Jan. 16th.

SE team should plan for departures on the afternoon of Friday, January 17th, after 6:00pm.

o You may expense your flights as soon as you have booked them.

ALL DOMESTIC TRAVELERS (US AND CANADA) FLYING TO ATLANTA FROM NORTH AMERICA ARE EXPECTED TO TAKE MARTA.

Rental cars will NOT be reimbursed. (See section regarding MARTA information).

International Travelers:

o Arrivals: Everyone traveling to Atlanta should make their flight arrangements to arrive on Jan. 13 and plan

to be at the hotel by 5 p.m. in time for offsite team dinners (for travelers only).

Shuttles for international travelers: Once you have sent your schedule to [email protected], we will book ground transportation for your arrival into Atlanta.

Instructions for getting to the shuttle driver: Your shuttle pick up time is based on your flight arrival time. The driver will be checking flight arrivals for any delays. Once you land, you must first clear customs and pick up your bags. Once you have your bags and have completed any bag inspections, you will then head through the exit doors towards the terminal. Once through the exit doors, you will see the driver holding a sign with your name in a designated chauffer area. Please make certain to provide a cell phone number when you send your registration information to [email protected]. Local Atlanta Attendees:

o Arrivals – All local employees should plan to arrive to the hotel on Jan. 14 in time for an 8a.m. meeting.

We will have a hotel room available on Tuesday evening, Jan. 14, for all attendees who register. You MUST

register for Kickoff in order to have a room reserved. Check out for all local employees will be on

Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Executives and Regional Directors Traveling:

o Arrivals to hotel on Monday Jan. 13. Plan to be at the hotel by 2 p.m. for Run of Show rehearsals.

NOTE: All Executives, please send your itinerary directly to Dawn McEnany who will be

responsible for managing your ground transportation to and from the hotel.

MARTA: Because the hotel is located conveniently on the Northbound-Dunwoody Marta train/subway line, Marta is the method of transportation that all domestic employees (US and Canada) are to use when traveling to and from the Kickoff meeting. Veeam will be providing the hotel with a manifest of everyone’s flight itinerary so that they will be aware of our arrivals. Instructions for taking MARTA to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dunwoody.

From the airport baggage claim, you will follow the signs to the South Terminal Marta train station.

The cost of the train is $2.50 each way.

Take the RED line, Northbound-Dunwoody Train to Dunwoody Station.

CALL THE HOTEL: The hotel recommends that you call them when you reach the LENOX exit on the train to let them

know you are arriving shortly. That way they can make certain they will have a shuttle available to pick you up. The

Crowne Plaza phone number is (770) 395-7700.

Upon arrival at the Dunwoody station - Proceed down one level and go through the turnstiles. Turn right and then go

down to the street level and exit on the mall side of the station past where the MARTA buses pick up. Veeam will

have staff with signs directing you to the hotel shuttle location.

WALKING TO THE CROWNE PLAZA - If you decide you would like to walk to the hotel from the Dunwoody station, the

hotel is located about 0.4 miles away (an 8 minute walk). Exit the train station onto Hammond drive heading EAST

(towards the Perimeter mall which will be on your left). Follow Hammond drive until you come to the intersection of

Ashford Dunwoody and Hammond. Cross the intersection and you will see the Crowne Plaza Ravinia ahead of you.

Marta Train Frequencies:

o Weekdays: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: 15 minutes all lines

o Weekdays: 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.: 20 minutes all lines

o Weekends: 20 minutes all lines

Marta Train Service Hours

o Weekdays: 4:45 a.m. to 1 a.m.

o Weekends: 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.

o After 7 p.m., Red line travels between Lindbergh & North Springs

MEETING ATTIRE:

Business casual is acceptable for the Kickoff meeting.

Tuesday evening – Awards Dinner –Business Casual is required.

DIETARY NEEDS: If you forget to include any dietary considerations on your registration, please send your request to [email protected] and we will make certain to take them into consideration while planning meals.
