Designated assembly area is located in the West parking lot at the edge of the property

Evacuated occupants must remain at the assembly area to await the designated official to perform an accurate head count, or role call

Only after a competent authority announces it is safe to reenter should individuals leave the evacuation area

EMERGENCY REPORTING AND EVACUATION PROCEDURES

THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES ARE COVERED:

1. Call 9-1-12. The following information will need to be provided:

a) Nature of the medical emergencyb) Is the victim conscience?c) Is the victim breathing?d)What injury did the victim sustain?e)Location of the emergencyf) Address of business, Building number, &/or Room designationg)Your name and phone number from which you are calling

3. Do Not Move the victim unless Absolutely Necessary

FIRE EMERGENCY• Notify the Fire Department by dialing 9-1-1• Notify designated officials:• Voice communication (yelling)• Phone Paging/ Intercom• radio or other (jumping around signaling)

Only fight the fire if:• Fire Dept. has been notified• The fire is small and not spreading • It is possible to escape through the nearest exit• Fire extinguisher is in working condition and you have been trained

on their use

When a fire is discovered:

• Leave the building using designated escape routes• Assemble at the Emergency Evacuation

Area• Remain outside until a designated

official announces it is safe to reenter

Upon being notified about a Fire Emergency,Occupants must:

• Ensure all employees are evacuated from areas• Report problems to Emergency Coordinator at Evacuation Area

• Shut-off utilities manually• Coordinate evacuation• Perform role call at Evacuation Area• Locate missing persons & determine rescue methods•Meet with Fire Dept. to relay necessary information• Perform assessment and coordinate forecast or closing procedures

Unnecessary electrical equipment and appliances should be turned off

Earthquake:Await instructions from designated official

• Keep clear of potential hazards• Assist those who are disabled to a safe place• Evacuate only if instructed

Flooding: If indoors:

• Be prepared to evacuate as directed by designated official• Follow evacuation routes

If outdoors:• Climb to high ground and stay there• Avoid walking or driving through floodwater• If vehicle stalls, abandon it & climb to higher ground

CRITICAL OPERATIONSSpecially Assigned Personnel• Remain on-site• Perform critical operations as instructed by the

designated official only in the work area assigned• In the case where an emergency situation will

not permit ANY personnel to remain at facility, the designated official or assigned personnel shall notify appropriate individuals as backup.• Refer to contact list within Emergency Action
