Commercial
Project planning is a fundamental element for Chilfen in the process of delivering projects of varying
complexity. Our Project Director oversees and ensures the seamless transition from design to completion
maintaining a close working relationship with all involved in the project process
Blue Chip corporate office fit-out is our core market in this sector and accounts for around 40% of our business
turnover.
Projects typically feature the following custom made products; Tea points and break out areas, reception areas, wall
panelling, resource areas, washrooms, AV units and feature walls fitted seating, workstations & desk partitions.

Retail
Retail Joinery accounts for around 30% of our business
working predominantly with shop-fitters, point of sale
designers and fabricators.
Proto-typing and roll out are the focus in this sector.
Our approach is to offer support at pre contract level
with value engineering and construction advice.
All products begin their journey in our Cad projects
office before being passed over to production.
Products include all types of retail display and flat
panel work.

Continual investment in plant, facilities, management systems and processes ensures Chilfen remain a key player in bespoke joinery manufacturing.
Our 33,000 sqft production plant is equipped with state of the art machinery including our new
“Eco gate” extraction system and our new spray booths and drying room giving a combined spraying area of 540sqft and the drying room giving an area of 210sqft.
The drying room was seen as a very important addition to increase quality and through flow of our fin-ished products.
