To create my background I used the rectangle tool to make a grey background. Then to make the border I selected the rubber tool and chose the less harsh rubber to dot around the outside free handedly.

I then placed the image and used ‘quick selection’ to extract it. I then scaled it using ‘command + T’ to the size I wanted.

I then decided where I want to position the title of the double page spread using scale and rotation and placed them.

I then placed blue rectangles behind the text using the rectangle tool.

To achieve the ‘interview’ box I made two rectangles, one bigger than the other, and made the front one darker. On the bottom box i added a ‘drop shadow’ through ‘FX’.
