Elise Letourneau is an accomplished composer, performer, arranger, and educator. She sings and plays piano, flute, bass flute, and melodica. She is gaining a reputation for writing choral music that is contemporary, access-ible and fresh; with a beautiful sensitivity to text and a particular flair for setting poetry. Her music has been sung by the Vancouver Chamber Choir, the Toronto Children's Choir, Canada's National Youth Choir and others. An associate composer of the Canadian Music Centre, she has won multiple awards and has been short-listed for the American Prize in choral composition twice. She directs Vox Eclectica Women's Chamber Choir and Capital Vox Jazz Choir, and performs and teaches throughout the Ottawa region. www.eliseletourneau.com

Tim Bedner is a modern lyrical composer and improviser, and an award-winning teacher and performer of six- and seven-string guitars. Reviewers have called him “a talent and a force, who plays with grace, style, passion, and inventiveness.” His CD recording “Of Light and Shadow” debuted in the #1 spot of the CMJ jazz chart. Tim teaches jazz guitar performance at Carleton University, where he founded the Contemporary & Jazz Guitar Ensemble. In addition to composing, Tim creates arrangements and guitar instructional materials. He performs extensively throughout the Ottawa/Gatineau region. Tim gradu-ated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and the Berklee College of Music in Boston. www.timbedner.com
