Maine to drive out English This effort = King Phillip’s War Natives destroy: 17 English towns, attack 52
others, kill 2,000 settlers, destroy crops, fields, cattle, kidnap people
KING PHILLIP’S WAR CONTINUED…
English strike back: kill/wound 4000 1676: English find & kill Metacom War goes on.. End- Conquest of N.E. almost complete
