System Baffle
The vertical installation enables creative design solutions and provides good sound absorption.
Fibral Multiflex Baffle is supplied with steel cappings which are right angled U-sections with punched holes and built-in clips makes the baffle suitable for different installation methods.
Fibral Multiflex Baffles are recommended for areas where frequent and unhindered access to service installations is required. Baffles are ideally suited for use in Thermal mass areas and where there is a need to maintain natural light through acoustic installations.

SOUND ABSORPTIONSound absorption has been measured in accordance with ISO 354. The sound absorption properties of items such as islands or baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area expressed as m² per item. This is the area of a 100% absorbing surface which would absorb the same amount of sound as the item in question.

HUMIDITY RESISTANCE AND DIMENSIONAL STABILITY (FLEXURAL TENSILE STRENGTH) Rockfon Fibral Multiflex Baffles are dimensionally stable even at humidity levels of up to 100% RH and can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 40°C.No acclimatisation is necessary.
LIGHT REFLECTIONWhite: 77% diffuse light reflection in accordance with ISO 7724-2.
HYGIENEStone wool has no nutritional value and therefore it provides no sustenance to harmful micro-organisms.
CLEANINGThe surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment.

System Baffle
All Hygienic products have a durable and special white painted surface, incorporating a fungicide to further enhance the resistance to the growth of micro-organisms and ensure regular cleanability. The 100% stone wool core does not contain any organic nutrients and cannot be attacked by rot or fungi.
Hygienic Baffles are classified as M2.5/10 in accordance with US FS 2009 E, making them suitable for highly controlled environments.
All products in the Hygienic range will withstand frequent cleaning and will not continue dripping after the cleaning process has taken place, thus minimising downtime.

CLEANINGThe surface can be vacuum cleaned with a soft brush attachment.
The surface can also be cleaned once a week using a sponge or cloth and warm water (max. 40°C) with a slightly alkaline detergent (max. pH 10) without alcohol, ammonia or chlorine.
Cleaning with a damp sponge or cloth may render the surface slightly shinier and we therefore recommend cleaning the whole surface evenly for best results.The surface can be foam cleaned once a week. Spray foam onto the surface at low pressure. Let it work for 5 minutes and then sluice or wipe clean. Soap solutions should be 1:100.
The surface can be high pressure cleaned once a week. Max pressure should be 65 bar at 1 metre distance, and water should be spread at a 30º angle. Soap solutions should be 1:100.
