Don’t Sit at Home aims to enrich the experience of young studnts by providing them with a holistic international experience.

AIESEC’s international volunteer internship with a duration between 6 to 18 weeks that o young people the opportunity to contribute positively to social change.

Through this programme AIESEC is providing young students an opportunity to develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills through international internships mainly on social issues.

It enhances their cultural awareness and gives the chance to know the world. This internship is done in local NGOs, Cultural & Social Projects that partner with AIESEC worldwide.

The intern will get the chance to work in an NGO to support a speci�s topic that is directly related to human rights.

The intern will be working in an NGO to help in it develop in a certan �eld(Marketing, HR, IT, Finance and so on).

The intern will be working to develop promotional material to boost the tourism of the country of his destination. Usually these projects include a lot of traveling around the country.

The intern will work with a school or organization in a team that consists of other interns to deliver workshops related to certain theme. He will also create a global environment for the participants through facilitating multicultural activities that develop the global mindset in all

participants.

The intern will prepare presentations about environment, recycling, awareness of the environment issues, solid waste, etc. He will also create outdoor activities that re�ect all what was learned in the

classes, such as good environmental practices, plant trees, and organic fertilizer.

The intern will be working in a project with other interns to conduct awareness campaigns to improve the health and the lifestyle of the people in the country of destination.

Projects run in Africa provides young volunteers the opportunity to explore and see a whole new side of Africa.The projects spans between 6-12 weeks andallows young people to traverse the vast cultures, make new friends and feelthe rush of living a life changing experience.

Volunteers are given trainings through preparation seminars that allows you to be adequately prepared for the experience ahead. These seminars have AIESECmembers as well as individuals that have already lived such life changing experiences
