D+Sutur is proud to present the thermoformed plastic tray, a state-of-the-art system to improve the transport, handling and storage of any type of bottle while optimizing space.

This type of tray has proved to be the best solu-tion for the storage, handling and transport of any kind of glass container, especially for all types of wine bottles.

Manufacturers of products which are packed or bottled in glass containers, know from expe-rience that unfortunately part of their products never reach the market as they are destroyed or damaged during handling, storage or distribution, causing considerable financial losses.

Fully aware of this problem, we have redefined the concept of bottle storage by creating thermo-formed plastic trays. These cushion each bottle perfectly and as lateral movements are eliminat-ed, there is no contact between the bottles there-fore avoiding unwanted breakages. We offer all of this at an optimal cost for the manufacturer.

The characteristics of the most common trays can be seen in this table, but we also have a wide range of trays available for special bottles.

The measurements of the bottles are used for guidance only, as each case can be determined based on the individual design of the bottle in question.

Rimaplast

Made of plastic material, it is designed so that bottles are placed horizontally, thus eliminating the need for additional strapping for handling and transport.

It acts as a protector by avoiding contact between the bottles. The result is a solid, compact and stable structure which greatly facilitates handling.

Plastipack

It is made from a plastic sheet structure, which has been thermoformed creating protuberances and cone-shaped holes, which mean that the different storage layers fit together perfectly.

The bottles are held and protected by their base and neck, avoiding any type of contact or abrasion between them. The main advantage of this system is that it allows the whole group of bottles be turned at the same time, and can be placed directly on the gyropalette

Our company was founded in 1992, dedicated to the creation and production of plastic for the storage, handling and transport of any kind of product.

At the beginning, we were specialized in the auto-motive industry, but some years later due to advances in our technical knowledge and research, we decided to undergo a strategic change. We started to allocate the largest part of our production to the manufacture of plastic trays designed to optimize the storage and handling of all types of wine bottles.

Due to our growth over the last few years, in 2011 we extended our premises and incorporated the ex-trusion process which has allowed us to guarantee the supply and quality of our raw materials as well as offering greater flexibility and service to our custom-ers. Thanks to the manufacturing process in place, we are able to recycle almost all of the leftover mate-rial which we generate.

We are present in the major wine-producing mar-kets, both nationally and internationally and we con-tinue to develop new applications in order to optimize our range of products.
