For DIY use, 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ is the recommend- ed Nitrogen product for every lawn applicaon. 18-0-1 is not recommended for non-irrigated lawns during periods of drought stress. Concentrate DIY Applicaon Rates and Instrucons for Cool Season Turf Grasses Applicaon with Hose End Sprayer: We recommend a 20-1 diluon rate for applicaons of 18-0-1 GreenePunchLawn Ferlizer (i.e. 20 ounces water for every one ounce of 18-0-1). This is why for DIY we recommend the use of a hose end sprayer. Watch the following video for instrucons on calibrang an Ortho hose end sprayer and understanding how to achieve proper diluons and even coverage of applicaons: hps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KH9o3OdWhUk As the video states, know your sprayer flow rate, find your walk pace, set your dial to allow you to walk the area being sprayed at least twice (i.e. front to back then side to side) to ensure even coverage. Watering in Requirement: If a hose end sprayer is used with a seng allows for a 20-1 diluon with water of each product there is no need to water the applicaon in. If you must use a diluon rate that is less than 20-1 or if there is uncertainty about your actual diluon rate, the applicaon(s) should be watered in for 5-15 minutes. SHAKE WELL! The mixed product should be agitated prior to and during applicaon. Applying 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ with other N-Ext™ products: Along with the 18-0-1 GreenePunchLawn Ferlizer applicaons, we recommend label rate applicaons of the products in the Bio-Smulant and/or Soil Acvator packages at 4-6 week intervals. Please consult published DIY applicaon recommendaons for the Bio-Smulant and Soil Acvator packages. Individual Applicaons of N-Ext Humic12™, RGS™, Air8™, D-Thatch™, 0-0-2 MicroGreene™, or 7-0-0 GreeNe EfFect™ products can be made on the day following applicaons of 18-0-1 GreenePunchLawn Ferlizer. For DIY, we do not recommend blending the 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ Lawn Ferlizer with any other products for a single applicaon. page 1 4 Gallon Package: 1.0 gal each 5 Galllon Package: 2.5 gal each DIY packages Cool Season Grass Applicaon Rates & Instrucons | See Other Side

COOL SEASON GRASSES (i.e. Bluegrass, Fescues, Ryegrass) are best able to add root mass and store and process nitrogen in the spring and fall when soil temperatures are between 50 and 65 degrees. During the summer months when daytime temperatures are above 85 degrees and overnight temperatures are above 70 degrees, soil temperatures rise which triggers the plant to shed roots and slow its metabolic processes. Extend-ed heat or drought stress can and often does trigger cool season grasses to enter a period of dormancy. It is for these reasons that we recommend reduced applications of nitrogen during the summer months.

DIY Application and Rate Instructions for Cool Season Turf Grasses

For cool season turf grasses, we recommend between 1.4 and 2.2 pounds of nitrogen per 1,000 sq. ft. per growing season (depending on growing zone) when using 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ Lawn Fertilizer as your nitrogen product with 60% of your nitrogen being applied in the early spring and late fall applications. We do not recommend that any single application of 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ exceed ½ pound of nitrogen per 1,000 square feet. Apply 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ Lawn Fertilizer at 4-6 week intervals throughout the growing season.

A good blueprint for 18-0-1 GreenePunch™ Lawn Fertilizer applications to cool season grasses is:
