The La Sarita Mining Property

The La Sarita mining property is located 20 kilometers southeast of the town of Moctezuma, Sonora, Mexico. The property consists of four concessions totaling 829.4955 hectares in area. Access to the property is along Sonora State Highway 69 east-northeast from Moctezuma for 17 kilometers, and then by secondary 4-wheel drive gravel roads for an additional 14 kilometers southeast from the highway.

The La Sarita Mining Property

The property is underlain by Late Triassic/Early Jurassic clastic continental and minor marine sedimentary rocks of the Barranca Group, overlain by Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous fluvio-deltaic and marine sedimentary rocks of the Bisbee Group. These units are intruded by Late Cretaceous to Early Tertiary Laramide age granitoid rocks (diorite-granodiorite), and are overlain by andesite-trachyte of the Lower Volcanic Complex, Tertiary rhyolite tufs of the upper member of the Lower Volcanic Complex and of the Upper Volcanic Complex.

The La Sarita Mining Property

Rock geochemical sampling conducted at selected sites verified the presence of copper and silver mineralization, and corroborates results from previous sampling. Geochemical analyses conducted by previous workers and also by the current operator returned significant values for copper and silver. The results indicate potential high- value silver-copper mineralization in structurally controlled veins and replacements zones, and potential for low-grade, bulk mineable copper mineralization in granodiorite.

The La Sarita Mining PropertyThe La Sarita property encompasses historic small-scale mine workings and several areas of copper and iron oxides in outcrop. Old mine workings are developed on structurally controlled epithermal quartz-carbonate veins and associated lateral replacement zones. Disseminated and replacement type copper mineralization also occurs on the property. The mineralization types appear to include porphyry-style disseminated copper, porphyry-related skarn-manto replacement zones in limestone, and epithermal quartz-carbonate copper-silver veins.

The La Sarita Mining PropertyThe La Sarita property is situated within a region endowed with copper and precious metal deposits related to Laramide (Late Cretaceous-Early Tertiary) and later Tertiary metallogenic events.

Copper results ranged up to 3.8 percent copper. The high sample was a 1.0 meter chip/channel sample of oxidized mineralization in the Puerta Verde mine. Other results for copper ranged from 0.34 to 2.28% copper. These results demonstrate that significant copper is contained in vein/replacement zones and skarn deposits on the property.

Silver results ranged up to 22.6 ounce per ton. The high sample was a 1.7 meter chip/channel sample of oxidized mineralization in the Puerta Verde mine. Six other anomalous results for silver ranged between 1.2 and 4.3 oz/ton Ag. These results demonstrate that significant silver is contained in vein/replacement zones and skarn deposits on the property.

The La Sarita Mining PropertyTwo Phase Development Project:

• Phase I exploration work to include prospecting, geological mapping and rock chip sampling of all areas of hydrothermally altered rocks on the property plus trenching and drilling. Trenching will provide exposure for continued sampling across all mineralized zones and barren looking epithermal veins. Drilling is planned to test the Puerta Verde zone at a depth to determine the average grade across the true width and also along strike to the northeast explore for extensions.

• Phase II exploration work consisting of property wide soil geochemical survey and a ground magnetic survey, followed by reverse circulation drilling on all resultant high priority targets to a minimum depth of 200 m. Ground IP Resistivity geophysics will be done over priority targets. Follow-up drilling of the main zone and further testing of new targets is planned, conditional on results of Phase 1 drilling.

Bralorne Mineral PropertyLocated 150 air miles from Vancouver, British Columbia. Discovery Ventures Inc. Bralorne Property comprises 35 mineral claims 5,090.78 hectares. Adjacent to and surrounding the Bralorne Mines Ltd’s property that has 2,490 hectares (5,478 acres). Accessible by paved roads; only 241km –about 5 hours north from Vancouver.

History

The Bralorne Mining Camp contains the largest historic gold mines in the Canadian Cordillera, with past production of 4.15 million ounces of gold from 7.9 million tons containing .57 oz Au/t from 52 veins and over 40 years of production . (Today’s gold value worth $4.5 billion USD).

Extremely deep vein structure (>5,000 feet) points to long-term mining operations along with many remaining exploration targets. The operation closed due to low gold prices, but much ore remained. Considerable ground was left unexplored between each historical operating mine. From 1928 to 1971, the Bralorne, Pioneer and King mines

produced 4.15 million ounces of gold from 7.9 million tons of ore—at today’s gold prices worth more than $4.5 billion USD.

Bralorne Mineral PropertyDiscovery Venture’s Exploration Targets

There is one mineral occurrence indicated on Discovery’s ground on the east side of the camp : Waterloo 092JNE019. Waterloo exists as Discovery’s main exploration target, starting with re-opening and sampling and looking for extensions. The Minfile reports a 1.3 meter thick quartz vein containing arsenopyrite with assays to 10 g/T gold exposed in old mine workings.

On the south end of the Discovery property, the Red Hawk/Dan Tucker occurrence (092JNE012) is close to the company’s property. This is reported as a 2.1 meter wide shear zone containing quartz veins with assays to 0.3 oz/ton gold, exposed in 5 tunnels and shafts.

On the west side of Discovery’s property, the Stibnite (092JNE058) is nearby and has stibnite-bearing quartz veins with minor gold in the Hurley sedimentary rocks.

Following the Dan Tucker shear southward onto the property with geochemistry or drilling, is another important exploration target. Also, prospecting and stream sediment geochemistry to the SE along the Bralorne trend add to the high-priority exploration target.

Discovery’s claims this area could have extensions of BK Zone mineralization that Bralorne Mines Ltd is actively mining, with recent assay results ranging up to 5906.8 g /T gold (172.3 oz/ton) over a width of 0.4 meters (1.4 ft).

Rabbitt Mine Mineral Property

The Rabbitt mine property is located in the Similkameen Mining Division of British Columbia. It is situated immediately north of the Tulameen River, west of Otter Lake, and 1.4 km west of the village of Tulameen. The property consists of 21 mineral tenures totalling 4004.5 hectares.

There are two mineral deposit target types on the property, volcanogenic massive sulphides (VMS) on the north east part of the property. These include the Redbird and Motherlode showings. Occurrences of native gold in quartz veins are located on the southwest part of the property that include the Rabbitt Mine.

Rabbitt Mine Mineral Property

The Rabbitt Mine was in production between 1938 and 1941, and again in 1970. The mine is reported to have produced for the period 1938 to 1941, 1304 tonnes of ore grading 25.7g/t gold and 14.0g/t silver. Recorded mineral recovery for this period was 33,516g (1078 ounces) gold and 18,164g (584 ounces) silver.

During 2008 / 2009 Discovery Ventures Inc. completed an exploration programs that included, airborne magnetometer and VLF-EM survey , geophysical survey, detailed ground work, consisting of grid establishment, soil and rock geochemistry and geological mapping. Further exploration recommendations include geological sampling on closer grid line density, soil geochemistry and diamond drilling.

Management and DirectorsDavid Rees - President and CEO

Mr. Rees first became involved with mining exploration development in 1966 and has been involved in one capacity or the other for the last 45 years. He has both hands on exploration and corporate management experience. Dave has served as an officer and director on the boards of several private and public corporations and has experience in mining exploration, real estate development and industrial product advancement.

Kenneth C. Phillippe, Director, Chief Financial Officer

Since May 2008, Mr. Phillippe is responsible for the accounting of the Company. Mr. Phillippe is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience working with public companies in the capacities of director, officer, financial advisor or consultant. Mr. Phillippe obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia in 1976. He articled with Thorne Riddell (now KPMG) and obtained his professional accounting designation in 1981. In 1982, Mr. Phillippe established his own accounting practice. Between February 2000 and August 2005 he served in various positions, including director, officer and chair of the audit committee of Urodynamix Technologies Ltd., a Vancouver based medical device company. Between January and December 2006 Mr. Phillippe served as Chief Financial Officer of Columbia Goldfields Ltd., a junior gold mining company. In addition, Since March 2006, Mr. Phillippe has served as Chief Financial Officer of Exchequer Resource Corp. From October 2006 to August 2010, Mr. Phillippe served as Chief Financial Officer, Director and Secretary of Bold Ventures Inc., which was listed on the TSX-V on October 29, 2007. Since March 10, 2009, Mr. Phillippe has served as Chief Financial Officer of Advanced Proteome Therapeutic Corp..

Management and DirectorsGarth Braun - Director

Mr. Braun brings to the company more than 23 years of diversified real estate, finance and oil and gas industry experience in operations, finance and strategic planning. Prior to joining Discovery Ventures Inc., he served as one of the lead Investment Bankers at Gateway Securities Inc. Mr. Braun gained extensive experience in the operations of an international oil and gas company where he served as CEO and Chairman. He has owned and operated several profitable real estate development companies in Canada. Mr Braun currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and director of Blackbird Energy Inc and is a director of Huldra Silver Inc.

Akash Patel - Director

Akash Patel has 12 years of experience as a public accountant and a tax consultant in private and government sectors. He has over 10 years of investing experience. He has received a Degree from British Columbia Institute of Technology with a Major in Accounting and minor in Finance. Since then, he has been actively employed in this field. Mr. Patel also has financial planning and operational management experience with junior exploration companies.

Cale Nishimura - Director

Cale Nishimura has over 14 years of experience in financial services and over 20 years investing experience. Mr. Nishimura has 10 years experience conducting compliance and procedural audits of brokerage firms for a securities regulator. Mr. Nishimura holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) Designation through CSI Global Education (formerly the Canadian Securities Institute).
