Several programs were implemented to increase preparedness and resiliency of LGUs in times of natural disaster to prevent loss of lives and other important resources

The DILG's role as member of Task Force Boracay is to review the performance of the concerned local executives in enforcing environmental laws and the issuance of permits in Boracay Island, and if warranted, file a case against them for possible negligence that may have led to the worsening of environmental conditions in the area

40 drills in 256 barangays in the Eastern Seaboard conducted with 3,222 participants

55,360 copies of the Gabay at Mapa Para sa Listong Pamilyang Pilipino (LPP) distributed to the Eastern Seaboard Regions

74 Provincial Links, 139 Social Welfare Officers, and 17 Family Development Sessions (FDS) focal persons from DSWD trained on LPP
