BBasaltic Dyke

Light grey limestone, heavily fractured w/ quartz veins

Dark grey limestone with stylolitic silicate layers and quartz veins

Coarse grained grey-white quartz arenite

Dark grey siltstone interbedded with orange weathered calcareous mudstone (fossiliferous)

White and chemically altered pink medium grained quartz arenite;heavily bioturbated, locally cross bedded at base

White quartz arenite; varying grain sizes from pebbles to medium sand, cross bedded

Arkosic Arenite; varying grain sizes from pebble to medium sand, pink colour due to high K-feldspar content, pebbles composed mainly of quartzite and vein quartz

Moine psammites with mylonitic fabric and shear indicators (quartz fish and feldspathic mantled clasts)

Polymetamorphic grey quartzose psammites with green (orange weathered) bedding surfaces indicating chlorite; some shiny surfaces show aligned muscovites in semi-pelitic layers

Feldspathic gneiss with high abundance of K-feldspar; contains weakly aligned hornblende and local quartz megacrysts

Contains rhombic K-feldspars and has been deformed within Moine psammites, concordant with bedding, therefore likely to be a sill

Hydrothermally altered Basaltic Dyke, containing plagioclase, pyroxene, and retrogressive epidote/ chlorite
