By utilising a miniature infra-red camera and a microscopic pattern of dots printed onto any type of paper form, the pen is able to record your handwritten strokes as digital data. By docking the pen with a PC or pairing it with a Bluetooth/3G capable phone, the data can be securely transmitted back to a central server. From here pre-written rules are interpreted. On submission, sophisticated handwriting recognition is automatically performed and various electronic outputs can be instantly created such as PDF, MSWord and XML.
