Organisation of the Hungarian ECDL

• Accreditation Committee – the main decision maker body– representatives of ministries (see next slide)– representatives of main users (e.g. Telecom, Post,

and the most relevant Test Centres)

• Quality Assurance Committee – members are the most prestigeous experts, cca. 350 site visits/year

• National ECDL Office – the operative government of the Hungarian ECDL

Recognition of ECDL

• Resolution 1035/1998. of the government• ECDL for Public Officials - accredited program• ECDL for teachers - accredited training since 2000

Public QTB

Approved as an accepted deviation by ECDL-FRequirements: • to multiply the number of tests/module (the

multiplication factor is cca. 8)• To ensure conformance with Syllabus and CTTBenefits:More satisfied consumers – major interest for ECDLGuaranteed Quality! (can the „Secret QTB and its few tests really remain a secret after a while…?)



Imagemaker module

• About digital photos – fulfills a new requirement of the market (most of the people now have digital camera)

• Photoshop and GIMP versions, • Cca. 25-30 hours course, 45 minutes test• Dozens of Test Centres, hundreds and more

candidates• Optional module for ECDL Select • Hungary since April 2006: becoming more and more

popular• The most enthusiastic are the students, but not only
