Publisher’s: ART. NOTE"I've always viewed art from a writer's perspective with a kneen honesty for truth behind the allure of
visual conceptions and through literature, as the catalyst to understanding the human condition. ART |
library deco is an Online African American Art Journal, documenting the visual and literary
experiences from the past and future, through the eyes of the novice, visual artists, writers, researchers and
institutions globally. In like manner, ART | library deco is for the art enthusiast, curator, librarian student,
researcher and writer. "
Still Life with Luminous Movement: The Literary Art Digital Narratives of Anderson, Young, & AyersDocumenting the lives of two women that have inspired me as an artist, writer, and librarian. Regina M. Anderson was a major
contributor to the Harlem Renaissance as a writer, studio host, and librarian. Lillian B. Horace was the first writer to be published
in Texas as a novelist and she was an avid writer, publisher, and educator. These two women have greatly influenced my work and
I'm in the process of documenting their lives through written accounts of their work through essays and a pictorial documentation.
My hope is to be able to travel in the future to gather pictures and recorded accounts from individuals about them as women of
reverence in the library and literary community.
