DIGIPAK DRAFT

Final first draft

This is our final first draft of our digipak. It was created using Fireworks and the images have all been edited with Pics Art. The template was found on google!

Inside cover

> We chose this image to use on the inside cover because we want to show our artist having fun with her friend. The photo has been edited using Pics Art. The filter that has been added to the photo is called Holga 1 which has given the image a 3D look. This makes the photo look futuristic which links with our production company 'Future Productions'. If the audience recognises this then they may see our artist as futuristic and trendy.

Left cover> Using Pics Art, we added a

Pop Art filter which adds colours to the images. We felt that the colours were appropriate because there is a link to the colours used in our video aswell creating intertextuality and synergy. We edited our artists legs to make them look defined and flawless, like Jennifer Lopez's leg. Jennifer Lopez is well known for having lovely legs and gets a lot of attention for them so this is a good way of gaining attention.

Back coverFor the back cover we added a mirror effect and a filter called 'dodger' using Pics Art, again. We photo shopped our artist to make her look flawless so the female audience will aspire to be like her. The writing has been written in the font 'Castellar' and in gold as it looks sophisticated. Also the writing is similar to the writing on the front of the cover making the digipak all match up. Our logo is seen at the bottom of this image so the audience will begin to become fmailar with it and recongise it wherever it is seen. The gold colours match the gold theme of the digipak.

Front cover

For the front cover we have used our logo but we have added an image of our artist into the CD. The white and gold colour theme gives out a sense of elegance, innocence and importance. 'Sasha' has been written in big writing to stand out and gain audience attention. We want our artist to be recognisable when people see the logo and the colour theme therefore we will have these aspects running throughout the digipak, and advert.

Left cover

So far we have only created this for our left cover. We would like to create a personal message from our artist to the audience so this is something we will do for the next draft. Although this cover is very simple I like that we have stuck to the white and gold theme. I think it is important for our digipak to have the same colour theme running throughout so, perhaps, next time we may change the other left cover out also.

Back cover

This image is the original image that has been used on the front cover. The difference is that this image does not have the logo surrounding it. Using the same image but in slightly different ways creates synergy between the covers. Having the same theme run throughout the digipak is important otherwise it could look tacky and jumbled up.
