SHAWLWith waste yarn, use Provisional CO method to CO 2 sts. (RS) With MC and A held tog, work 9 rows in Gtr St. (WS) Rotate pc and pick up and knit 4 sts evenly along side of edge; remove waste yarn and transfer live sts to LH needle, k2 – 8 sts.

Est Patt (RS): K2 (edge sts, keep in Gtr St throughout), pm, yo, k1, yo, pm, k2 (center sts, keep in Gtr St throughout), pm, yo, k1, yo, pm, k2 (edge sts, keep in Gtr St throughout) – 4 sts inc’d; 12 sts.Next Row (WS): Knit.
