1. Find 3 textual examples of literary devices. For each device, label (left side of T-chart) and explain (right side of T-chart) HOW is demonstrates that device.

3. Do you think the practice of the Reaping is fair? Explain (be specific).

4. Choose 3 characters introduced in Ch. 1 & 2 and describe the type of person they are. Use evidence from the book that led you to draw these conclusions.
