Fuel surcharge applicable to road freight services, valid as from 1st January, 2017

A fuel surcharge will be added to the base shipment transportation cost (before value-added services costs). It's

applicable for all road freight services. Based on the fluctuation of fuel costs, the fuel surcharge will be regulated

accordingly each month, with the surcharge index published in advance.

The formula for the calculation of fuel surcharge reflects the average diesel oil retail price on the Polish market in a

given month. It is calculated as the arithmetic average from the weighted average of diesel oil retail price in a given

month, including all the taxes and charges (excise duty, fuel charge and VAT) applicable on the domestic market as

of a given day of the week. The Index is expressed in PLN for 1000 l. The average weighted price is calculated on the

basis of the average retail prices applicable by different operators with the biggest share in the market of diesel oil

retail sale, i.e. PKN Orlen, private and corporate stations, corporations, Lotos Group. The weight is constituted by the

share of each market operator. DHL Parcel Polska Sp. z o.o. reserves the right to change the fuel surcharge index and

table without notice. Both amount and duration of the fuel surcharge will be determined at DHL's sole discretion.
