Psalm 63:1-4O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you;

my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your

power and your glory.Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify

you.

So I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name

I will lift up my hands.

O God, you are my God,

teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your

wonders.

love, O LORD; teach me your decrees.

Psalm 119:171 May my lips overflow with praise, for you teach me

your decrees.

DRAW NEAR TO GOD TO RESPOND

Isaiah 30:18-21Yet the LORD longs to be

gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. For

the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who

wait for him!

O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for

help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.

Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction,

your teachers will be hidden no more; with your

own eyes you will see them.

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your

ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is

the way; walk in it.”

Luke 11:27-28As Jesus was saying these

things, a woman in the crowd called out, "Blessed

is the mother who gave you birth and nursed you."

He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the

word of God and obey it.”
