High School Grade Calculations High schools and middle schools with students taking high school courses are to use the following guidelines to calculate final grades for students. High School Grade Calculations

High schools and middle schools with students taking high school courses are to

use the following guidelines to calculate final grades for students.

Course Grade Calculations – Beginning 2010-2011

Block Courses (EOC, AP, IB, NC Final Exams, VOCAT, and All Other Courses)

Term Weight

1st Quarter 40% of final grade

2nd Quarter 40% of final grade

Final Exam 20% of final grade

Final Grade 100%
