Throughout its history, De L’Europe has been favoured by

Amsterdam’s elite and the hotel continues to attract the world’s

most celebrated names. Exuding an air of sophistication,

De L’Europe boasts a distinctive décor, surrounding visitors with

original works of the Dutch Masters from the private collection

of Alfred “Freddy” Heineken and capturing the very essence of

Amsterdam. Building on its illustrious history and delivering

discreet yet attentive service, De L’Europe specialises in the art

of exceeding expectations.

THE ART OFEXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

introducing de l’europe 3

Originally built in 1896, De L’Europe is located

in the heart of Amsterdam overlooking the

beautiful Amstel River and in the shadow

of the historic Munt Tower. Synonymous

with refined taste and classical elegance,

De L’Europe is acknowledged as one of

Amsterdam’s finest hotels.

An oasis of calm in Amsterdam’s buzzing city centre,

De L’Europe’s original Rondeel Building epitomises

timeless refinement. With each guestroom and suite

incorporating classic design elements and cutting-

edge comforts such as iPads, heated flooring and

motion-detecting floor lighting, the Rondeel presents a

homely, welcoming environment. Bold colours combine

with plush carpeting, hardwood floors, custom fabrics

and fine linens, while Dutch Masters-inspired paintings

adorn the walls to create a sense of restful refinement.

The contemporary Dutch Masters Wing harmonises art

and design, with its atrium skyline and dazzling works of

art creating the effect of an airy boutique hotel. Each

of the 23 boldly appointed, spacious suites displays a

different Dutch Masters painting recreated from the

original in the nearby Rijksmuseum, while an additional

oversized painting is inspired by magnified details of

the same work. Guests may select an intimate suite or

a spacious one-bedroom suite, each featuring indulgent

amenities and the latest technology.
