De Colores, Dear Sisters & Brothers in Christ! It is with unspeakable joy and incredible awe that we have experienced the Holy Spirit assembling the teams for the Men’s SonRise 93 and the Women’s SonRise 94 weekends. Each 4th Day Pilgrim brings personal spiritual blessings with them to the teams. With those blessings and the blessings of the Spirit, we all will be blessed as we walk this journey together serving our Lord. With His love and His grace, we prepared to serve His children on this weekend. Team building and community building have begun and are evolving as we mentor and care for each other through grace filled servanthood. Jesus is our role model, mentor and caregiver as we prepare for our service in Him. We need Jesus and we need each other to be complete in our servanthood. From our chosen weekend scripture, we know:
God is love, whoever lives in love, lives in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16
We thank God for the prayers you continue to pray for us, for these teams and for the pilgrims that experience the SonRise 93 and SonRise 94 weekends. We ask for your prayers for safe travel, good health and the loving guidance of the Holy Spirit to open all of our eyes and hearts to God’s great love, grace and caring compassion and loving kindness in each of our lives.
We are deeply thankful for our host, Covenant Lutheran Church, and its congregation who have richly blessed us by being our home and by welcoming us as extended family. It is good to be with family and feel so loved and cared for.

Opportunities to serve as 4th Day support on both weekends
Pray: Sign up on the website www.wivdc.org for 24/7 prayer vigil on both weekends Food: Sign up on the website www.wivdc.org for Food Palanca for both weekends
Friday: 7:30 pm prepare for Stations of the Cross Saturday: 9am Agape set-up begins. Tear down and clean-up follow. The Kitchen Team
can always use help in washing the dishes and preparing the Saturday evening meal.
Saturday: 8 pm Ultreya Service Saturday: 9 pm Candlelight Service Sunday: March 6th 2016 10:30 to 2:30 help clean, pack up containers and repack the
trailer. This would be a most welcome palanca for our exhausted teams! Sunday: Clausura Service 3 pm on both weekends Ultreya: Sunday March 20, 2016 3 pm Covenant Lutheran Church

The weekends will soon be here, and we need your support!
How can you help? There are many ways to help.
Pray for the weekenders and team. The lists are included in
this newsletter.
Sign up for food Palanca or prayer vigil times located on the
VDC website.
Write Palanca that will be delivered all three days of the
weekend.
Assist with Stations of the Cross on Friday night (arrive by
7:30 pm).
Help with Agape decoration and preparation on Saturday,
beginning at 9 am.
Attend the Candlelight Ultreya Service that begins at 8 pm
Saturday.
Attend the Serenade and Clausura service that begins at 3
pm Sunday.
Join us at the follow up Ultreya on Sunday, March 20th at 3
pm.
