Creative Director Sandro Macri Wins Prestigious Award at

The Davines World Wide Hair Tour

(June 2013) – The World Wide Hair Tour, Davines' signature event, was held May 26th to 28th

2013 at Folies Bergère in Paris, and was attended by Davines' stylists representing the best of the best

in stylists and colourists from more than 40 countries. Toronto's own Sandro Macri, Creative Director

of Salon Collage (www.saloncollage.com) was on hand to witness and compete in this spectacular

presentation of talent. Coming off his most recent win for Avant Garde and Fantasy at the Canadian

Hairdresser Magazine Mirror Awards, Macri was representing North America for Best Haircut in the

World. With his take on the beauty and distinctness between the water and sky, and the rich hues and

variations of the blue found in nature, Macri created the winning cut at this years Davines World Wide

Hair Tour.

Representing North America – Sandro Macri, Creative Director of Salon Collage putting the final touches on his winning entry – Best Haircut at The Davines' World Wide Hair Tour 2013.

Taking inspiration from the rich variety of the blues and the nature of water and the sky, Macri

created a look that encompassed the ever-changing flow and contrast between water, ice and sky.

“Colour has infinite possibilities. By slightly altering your formula, you can create an endless range of

colour,” explains Macri.
