Design Plaster Mouldings is a company founded on over 85 years of family experience. The company has been in operation in Toronto, Canada since 1990. Our business is to provide hands-on plaster crafts-manship in a craft shop setting; our skilled trades people produce decorative plaster work from drawings created by our experienced CAD operators. We provide an inventory of traditional designs, in addition to custom fabrication, from drawings and models to full scale productions. Design Plaster Mouldings, Toronto division, was started in 1990 by David Ryan who emigrated to Toronto in 1988 from Dublin, Ireland. David is second generation master craftsman in decorative plaster work, having learned his skills from his father, Michael Ryan, who was known throughout Ireland for his excel-lence in his craft. David is pleased to introduce his son Glenn as third generation master craftsman in the Ryan family. Having completed his 8-year apprenticeship with Design Plaster Mouldings, Glenn has excelled in every aspect of the company business and we are confident that Glenn will help carry on the tradition of producing first class quality work with Design Plaster Mouldings. We are pleased with the addition to our staff of Vincent Cotroneo. Vincent’s expertise is in the production of simulated stone mantels. With the help of Vincent, we are pleased to introduce our new line of Da Vinci mantels. Our new brochure consists of a selection of our stock mantels and decorative trims. As well, we can produce custom mantels and over-mantels from photographs or drawings submitted to us. We are always pleased to provide further information about our products and services. StrengthWe use a specially formulated compound of lightweight materi-als to get twice the strength. Our research has led us to produce a special compound of concrete. Our product is non-combustible. The composition of our product is engineered to resist calcination and cracking.

TextureWe use a unique pigmentation process to bring out the natural colouration of authentic stone. Not only does it look grand, but it also makes our fireplaces more resistent to any surface damage. Our colouration system resists UV radiation and discolouriza-tion, thus it will keep its colour and texture for years to come.

ALL PRICING is subject to all applicable taxes. All delivery costs are at the expense of the purchaser.

TERMS. Payment in full, 30 days from date of invoice, where credit has been agreed upon.

OVERDUE ACCOUNTS will be charged 2% per month (24% per annum) on invoices over 30 days.

INSTALLATION. It is strongly recommended that you hire a professional contractor that is competent with the instal-lation of your cast stone product. Ensuring that sound pre-installation, installation and non-combustible construction methods have been employed is beyond the scope of our services and is strictly the responsibility of the purchaser. This product is designed for indoor use only.

SHIPPING. Da Vinci Fireplace Mantels deliver within the GTA. There is a $50.00 charge per delivery or per skid. For further delivery information please contact your dealer or Da Vinci Fireplace Mantels. Customer is responsible for the inspection of goods upon receipt for damage or loss caused by the carrier. Claims for loss or damage must be filed by the purchaser directly with the carrier within 5 business days from receipt of goods.

CUSTOM ORDERS for special products must be prepaid prior to manufacturing. A copy of a complete drawing is re-quired.

VARIATIONS. Although cast stone is generally more consistent than natural stone, due to the nature of the raw materials some variation in surface texture, colour and veining are inherent in the product.
