Apple iOS Projects Next Simplifies the process of choosing where to eat or what to do next + Uses the current weather, time and location to figure out useful and relevant recommendations + Example 1: At 12:30pm on a weekday with sunny weather, Next will infer that its lunch time and the user is at work, so the app will recommend places to go for lunch that are walking distance away. + Example 2: At 6pm on a weekend with rainy weather, the app will infer that user would want to unwind or relax indoors, so restaurants, lounges and bars will be recommended. Active Alarm Designed to help people that find it hard to wake up in the morning + Behaves like a normal alarm except there is no snooze button + In order to disarm the alarm, users have to complete a set of mini games + Games require the user to find a moving character in a crowd, complete a number of pushups and answer questions in a math game Cinema Provides information for recently released movies + Users can scroll through movies by swiping through a carousel of movie posters + Tapping on the poster leads to the movie review, synopsis, audience rating, and link to the mobile site. The mobile site is viewable in app, allowing for seamless and integrated experience. + A map shows which movie theatres are playing the desired movie in relation to the user’s real time location. Tips Calculates tip based on how the user feels about the dining experience rather than using an arbitrary number + User provides feedback on a scale that ranges from “Awful” to “Amazing” + User is greeted with different questions based on the time of day (ex. “How was Brunch?”) + Application will calculate tip based on the dining experience
