She is also working as a researcher for Xanadu, a Canadian quantum computing startup. She is very passionate about helping to build a society she would like to live in herself through her involvement with the Bright Stars programme, the Hawu! Science Outreach Initiative, the yearly Eskom Expo, and Open Data Durban. Ultimately, she is searching for ways to combine powerful skills from science and technology with her vision of enabling the people around her to live up to their full potential.
