Blog writing An article in opposition to the topic “Celebrating the past while protecting the future” as

an entry for the Journalism Trophy, NASA (National Association of students ofArchitecture, India), for its 54thAnnual NASA Convention held at Ahmadabad.

LEADERSHIP, MANAGEMENT AND INITIATIVE

Served as the 55th President of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS OFARCHITECTURE:-Direct coordination with the Executive Council comprising of a team of 9 members.- conducted the 55th SAARC level Annual NASA Convention at the Gateway Instituteof Architecture & Design, Sonepat in the year 2013.- Introduction of the Laurie Baker Low cost design trophy at SAARC level.- Collaborations with the University of Westminster, London, UK for introducing theWestminster Trophy on sustainable planning- Reviving of the Virasat Foundation, (Ar. Parul Zaveri) for the‘Unknown Crafts Person’s Trophy’.- Introduced the NASA day (13th September of every year) celebration format whereinstudents of architecture all over the country perform or begin on this day with a voluntaryservice to the society with an architectural essence.

Dissertation –A detailed qualitative and quantitative survey using dry bulb and wet bulbthermometers in the projects done on the principles of Ar. ranking in the 42 km marathon race, 35th in the 20km Elimination race, 37th in the 10 kmrace. National medalist since 1996 & a National gold medalist a several times since 1997.Other sports- athletics (divisional level), handball, basketball (divisional level), karate(green belt), badminton, football and kho-kho, marathons, skatathons, cyclations.

Shortlisted in the top ten of central zone contest for the Bournvita Confidence Championorganised in 2006.
