I’m born and raised in Sweden, living in Denmark with Danish citizenship.I am an experienced Senior Deck officer, the last 18 years in the cruise industry and passenger ferries.I’m keeping my self in good health by regular exercise and active vacations such as skiing and SCUBA diving.I consider myself as a responsible officer, working well both independently and as a team player.I am an open and reliable person with leadership skills that get the work done properly and in due time. Being a part of the crew on Cruise ships is a place I find myself very comfortable in. Working with people and maneuver the ship, socializing with passenger and walk the extra mile to achieve the goals set of each and every cruise is a pleasure for me.

I graduate as master mariner at the Merchant Maritime Academy in Malmoe, Sweden in May-1982. I hold a valid STWC-95 Danish / Bahamas Master license with no limitations. All relevant courses are up to date.

During my 40 years at sea I have achieved a massive experience on different kind of ships, such as Container / Ro-Ro / Tankers / Ferries/ Fast Ferries and Cruise ships.The last 18 years in cruise/passenger business. Including the pleasure to work at Genoa shipyard, building the cruise ship M/V Seven Seas Voyager.

My experience as Chief Officer began in 1990 on Ro/Ro-ships, There after thru the 90’s on Ferries and Hi-tech Container ship.

I started in cruise business in mid -1998, served in Star cruises as 2nd Officer, 1st Officer and Safety Manager until end of 1999.In the years of 2000 and 2001, as Staff Captain on Renaissance Cruises R-ships,

After the bankruptcy of Renaissance Cruises, and up to present, I have served as 1’Officer, Safety & Security Officer, and Chief Officer on Passenger ferries/ Fast ferries & cruise ships. Last 3 years, Captain onboard Fred Olsen Cruise lines M/s Boudicca. A 205 meter / 850 passenger Cruise ship with 2 propellers / 2 rudders and 2 bow thrusters.

With my background as Safety officer,During my time on Passenger ferries, Denmark – Norway, I had a sideline job as certified safety instructor on stcw-95 (BST) courses. Approximately once a month, I conducted basic safety courses for hotel personnel in Ferry / passenger ships, class’s ranges of 12-16 students, at SAMAJU educations center in Sweden. I have also conducted STCW-95 courses in England (Newcastle) and Nigeria (Lagos) for deck & engine crew.In additional, conducting Crowd/Crisis management & human behavior courses in Brazil, (Macae’)
