DEVELOPMENT OF ACCREDITATION POLICIES AND STANDARDS I have developed the AIF Quality Assurance Manual: Criteria and Guidelines for Learning Programmes in the Financial Services Industry for Asian Institute of Finance. I was also involved in the overall development of Learning Programme Assessment and Accreditation Framework (LPAAF) for the Malaysian financial services industry. The LPAAF has since been renamed as Finance Accreditation Agency Quality Framework (FQF) which is adopted for implementation at the Finance Accreditation Agency (FAA). Besides updating the FQF, I am also responsible for the development of policies governing the

various accreditation processes described in the FQF such as the FAA Programme Accreditation (FPA) and FAA Institutional Accreditation (FIA). In my current role in FAA, I have led various committees for the development of FAA Qualification Structure (FQS) and FAA Learning Standards (FLS). The Islamic Finance Professional Programme Structure (IFPPS) was successfully developed in December 2015 in which I served as the Chief Secretariat. I have been appointed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency in 2014 to serve as the chair for the Panel of Experts in the development of Programme Standards for Business Studies, ranging from the level of Certificate to Doctoral degree programmes. In 2015, I was again appointed by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency to serve as a member of the Panel of Experts in the development of Guidelines for Good Practice for Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) for the award of credits as well as for the development of Programme Standards for Finance. In 2016, I have been appointed as a Sub-Committee Chairman for the review of format and instrument for Self-Review Report (SRR) as part of the maintenance audit exercise.

RESEARCH INTERESTS, AWARDS AND GRANTS Research Interests: I have been actively pursuing research in various areas such as knowledge management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, information technology management and management in education. Research Awards: Two of my conference papers received the Best Paper Award and Honourable Mention Research Award respectively. Research Grants: I received two internal grants from Multimedia University totaling RM40,945.20, on top of a grant from the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation under the Intensification of Research in Priority Areas (IRPA) programme totaling RM40,410.00 for a research project on MyKad and a RM10,000.00 grant from the Ministry of Higher Education to fund a research project on knowledge management system implementation amongst small and medium industries in Malaysia.
