1. Bsmart

MyBsmart app features interactive Student’s books and Workbooks for teachers and students.

What can TEACHERS do with bsmart?

- Share the ebooks on the screen (a video conferencing functionality is embedded in the platform)

- Play audio and video files

- Highlight or hide text and pics, draw, write, add notes, add links

- Create and share mind maps

- Create a virtual classroom

- Assign homework

- Monitor students’ performance

Both teachers and students can register at: https://www.bsmart.it/users/sign_up

IMPORTANT: If you don’t belong to a State School, in order to be able to proceed with the registration, you will

have to choose “other” as a city and “other” as a school. If your computer’s language is Italian, instead of “other”,

choose “altra”.

Once you’re registered, sign in and click on “attiva un libro”.

Click on Cambridge University Press:

Type in the window the code: CUP-CERT-SCUOLE. (Don’t type Cambridge)

Click on “catalogue”:

Search your book in the “search by title” window and click on “attiva subito”.From the www.bsmart.it home page, create a virtual classroom and share the class code with your students.

After having registered and logged in, students will have to click on classroom (see screenshot in the previous page). Then they’ll click on “iscriviti ad un corso” (see screenshot below).

Students will now type in the class code provided by the teacher and the book will be available to them (see screenshot below):

Please notice that bsmart works on all devices (computers, tablets and smartphones).

If you wish to use it on a tablet or smartphone you can download from the Apple Store or Google Play the

APP called MyBsmart.

2. Presentation Plus

Most CUP titles that aren’t available on bsmart are available as Presentation Plus.

What can teachers do with Presentation Plus?

- Share interactive Student’s books and Workbooks on their screen during video lessons.

- Play audio and video files.

- Highlight or hide text and pics, draw, write, add notes, add links… you can do everything

- For some titles, P+ also feature a digital version of the Teacher’s book and links to extra resources!

In order to get access to the Presentation Plus for titles you need, please get in touch with your local ELT

consultant (find the contact list at the end of this document).

3. Cambridge LMS

The Cambridge Learning Management System (CLMS) is a digital learning environment where students can

access a wide range of resources connected to the Cambridge books they’re using (audio files, online

practice, etc.)

On the CLMS teachers can create classes and enroll students. This functionality allows teachers to monitor

what students do, to provide feedback and to manage their classes remotely.

Primary and Young Learners titles are hosted on the Primary CLMS.

4. APPS

• Cambridge EXAM LIFT B1 Preliminary for schools: Free app available for APPLE and ANDROID with

practice activities for the updated B1 for Schools exam.

• Please invite students and parents to download the World of Fun APP via the relative app stores: For

APPLE or ANDROID

5. Exam Practice

• Testbank is available for B2 and C1 CEQs and for IELTS.

You can find information here: http://cambridgeelt.it/exam_practice, where students can also purchase

it at a reduced price until 31st July 2020 (€7,99 instead of €14,99).

• Trainers for all CEQs are being digitalized as we speak and they’ll be available as static PDFs on Bsmartasap, not be fore the 20th of March.
