CREATIVE MOVEMENT DANCE WORKSHOP
DA’s Music Therapy & Performing Arts Department will host a FREE 3 day CREATIVE MOVEMENT DANCE WORKSHOP
Made possible by the Moody Foundation
Tuesday, May 31st, Thursday, June 2nd, and Friday, June 3rd
Grades 3-6 will attend from 1:00-2:15 p.m.
Students in Grades 7-12 will attend from 2:30-4:00 p.m. The 3-day sessions ends with a short dance presentation at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 3rd for
parents and guests
Participation is FREE!
This 3-day workshop will include dance warm-ups, creative movement, plenty of self-expression, exploring creativity, learning new dance steps, experience and development in self-awareness, self-confidence, motor movement, social skills,
non-verbal communication, lots of new challenges, and FUN!
No experience is necessary!
The Workshop is hosted and supervised by Ms. Grogan and Ms. Daly Dance instruction by Dance Professionals from Epiphany DanceArts
