Creating & Managing your Facebook Page
Facebook has more than 300+ million users. At present, each day more than 10 million users become fans of pages they want to follow.
This presentation will guide you on how you can create your Facebook Page.
Facebook Pages are created by organizations, public figures, businesses, and brands to connect with people in an official, public manner.
What is a Facebook Page?
If you have a Facebook profile, go to www.facebook.com/page and choose your Page category.
The profile you have created will automatically be the administrator of the page.
Get Started with Facebook Page
Add a page photo. Make sure to utilize this space by adding a profile up to a size of 180x540 pixels.
Add information about your organization or business.
If you wish to change your profile picture or information, click on “Edit page”.

The Wall is the place where you can display your updates and posts.
This is also the place where you can see updates from your fans.
Click “Edit Page” and go to the “Manage Permissions” to manage permissions on who can post on your Wall.

Using the “Like button” your users will connect to your Page. When a person clicks the Like Button, a News Feed story is shared with his/her friends.
On the left side of your page are your navigation links and applications. These links may vary depending on your Page Category. Click “Edit” to move or delete links.

Below the Like Button is your Photo strip. This strip displays the most recent photos that you tag your Page in or post to your Wall. If you wish to hide a photo, roll over it and click the X in the top right corner.

The Share icons will help you to post an update, add photos, links or videos. The published content will appear on your wall and on the News feeds of people who like your page.

The number of people who like your page will appear below the navigation links on the left side.
“Likes” displays the pages that you’re interested in.

You can find your page by typing the name of your page in the search box.

You can add or remove admins using the “Manage Admins” section of the Edit Page View.
If you want to invite a friend to manage your page, type in the name or email address of your friend in the text box . Upon sending an invite, a Page Admin notification will be sent to him/her.
To add, remove or name a navigation link, click on “Edit Settings” under the application title.

To know more about who your audience is and how people interact with your page, click “View Insights”.
You can export most of these insights to an Excel or CSV file.
