Creating a Facebook Page

On your personal account click the

drop down arrow

Click Create Page

Select a business category

Choose an industry specific category

For Local Business or Place -> Fill out

the fields

Click Get Started

Start setting up your Page

Add a description about your company

Add website

Customize a URL

Click Save Info

Upload or import a profile picture

Select image from files

Or click Import From Website

Add your website

Click Next

Add your page to your Facebook

account for easy access

Click Add to Favorites

Click Next

Start reaching new audiences with Preferred Page Audience

Click Save

Adding a cover photo

Click Add a Cover

Select Upload Photo

Choose photo from file then click Open

Call to Action Button helps drive people from Facebook to take actions that are important to

Click +Add a Button

Choose a Button, Add a Website and Set up Link

Click Create

Hover the cursor over the Button to Test, Edit, Delete and View

Page: Left Column Menu Tabs

Select menu in the left side column tab

Add a unique username by

clicking Create Page @username

Type a username

Click Create Username*

*requires 25 Likes

Home tab shows your News Feed

Edit Page information in the About tab

Click Add Service to showcase what you offer

Add Name, Price, Description and Photo then Click Save

Photos stores all picture in your Page

See the status of your Page in the Likes tab by date

Search and invite friends to like your Page

Manage your videos all in one place

Posts includes all your Page posts and Visitor Posts

Click Manage Tabs to organize, Add/Remove tabs

Promote your Page and Website, or Invite friends

Navigation menu is the bar at the top of the Page

Page is the homepage of the Facebook Page

The buttons above the News Feed are shortcuts to some

feature of the Menu bar

Click More to see other options

Instantly add Status update

Add a photo, emoticons, and location to your status

Click Publish to post the update in the News feed

or click the arrow button to show options

Schedule, Backdate or Save Draft

Add date of publication then click Schedule

Backdate publishes a post that appears in the past timeline

Advertise your website

Advertise your posts by clicking Boost post

Share your Page post to others

Offer is a discount you can share with a customer

Supply the information and click

Create Offer

Invite people to an Event

Add Event details and

click Publish

Highlight key moments in a timeline using Milestone

Add details and click Save

Share a short Note from a blog post

Add Note to share to Audience

Filter data analysis by date

Select a Data Type, Date Range & File Format

Click Export Data

Select a tab on the left bar for specific data analysis

Promotions – monitors ad campaigns

Likes – monitors Total page Likes, Net Likes &

the Location

Reach – displays the number of people your

post reached
